Overall, Gladiator Guild Manager is a pretty ok management sim. It adds a nice layer of depth in terms of game play as well as narrative structure. Rejecting the job will also lower your standing with the job giver so you have to pick and choose to try and maintain a good relationship with each faction. Sometimes they will give you jobs that will directly impact other factions. You have the peasants, the baroness, and the necromancer to deal with. Each event also impacts your standings with different factions. The random events in this game are humorous, voice acted, and add depth to the game play and narrative. You only worry about which units to use and where to place them on the map.
